This was the front of my capri and the windscreen after getting back from the classic ford show on sunday. Luckily we got back before it went dark as i think we might of had a problem seeing. This was despite queuing for almost two hours to get out of the show. I have never been before and thought it was a really good show but this sort of organisation can easily put you off going again.

your going to have fun baked on flys are a nightmare to get off hopefully i will be there next year but sounds like i would of cooked my essex if sat in that for 2 hours
-
we were sat stationary for over an hour with the engine running and the fans running full on manual override. Just changed the inlet manifold and the car had been a bit slow starting earlier in the day when it was hot. so didn't want to risk stopping it.
-
think that is what i would of done mines the same can be a bugger to start should check the timing that might be the reason
-
To be honest it started straight away when we stopped for petrol later but need to try adjusting it slightly some time. Did have to find some long nose pliers from the boot thought as the override switch fell through the dash with the fans running full. In my wisdom i didn't wire them on the ignition so had to turn them off quick before they flattened the battery

We sat for an hour waiting to get out. After watching a few others with their cars switched off & pushing them 5ft every so often I joined them & got fed up with starting it to move it then turn it off again so pushed it some of the way till the traffic started moving.
Luckily the esc only weighs the same as one of Gylnn's wheels so it wasn't a problem. Thought the show was better than ford fair. Not so much plastic & more chrome bumper fords which is what I like to see. Think i'll make this my long distance show. Congrat's to Scott for having the balls to take his fiesta down the strip.

Think we joined the wrong queue as we left before the rest of you and then passed you all just outside. Other than that i agree it was a very good show and much better than ford fair. I think that i will have to start saving up the money for the petrol for next year.

i didnt know scott took his motor down the strip how did he do ? will bring the tina next year and i will have a go
