Cortina

Well finally finished my cortina weldthon. I started it over the easter week. Another week in Sept then a few saturdays on it. Then last weekend spent 3 days on it removing the wings to do a couple of localised repairs.
I fully shultz'ed under all the arches & floors to hopefully hold back the rust for a long time as I don't want to be doing it again !!. Took the car out of the workshop & brought it back home yesterday & spent today cleaning the interior & putting seats & carpets etc back in.
Hope to mot it next weekend then enjoy it for the winter. Should have it at the next meeting Looking rough but solid.
I'll try to get some photos to Glyn to upload on here so you can see what i've been up to

Hi Chris,
Sorry i only just found your post. Sounds like you've been busy. If you want me to post some pictures then email them to me at daftcarclub@live.co.uk. I will try and get round to updating the forum to make it easier to post pictures as soon as i get the club show pictures uploaded to the website. That said i haven't done the other two shows that i went to this year yet.
