Gear ratios of diesel type 9 gearbox

Hi. I need another type 9 to put in marmite. Local Scrapyard has a ford type 9 from a 2.3 sierra diesel. He says it has the longer shaft as per the v6 box. Anybody know if the ratios are different.

dont know m8 but i was up sparkys the other day and think he has a v6 type nine up there if you get really stuck.
