I,ve finally got the car port done & with electrics & lights so I have no excuse not to fit the engine I built last xmas. Its now up in the air with the fuel tank out so I can fit the facet pump & new bigger fuel lines & new batt cable. Then onto the front to fit fuel reg, oil cooler, kenlowe & electronic ign.
Once I know these are all doing what they should I'll swap to the new engine & also wrap the exhaust manifold & hopefully everything will work.
Nothing like running up a home built engine for the 1st time, every small noise & the smell of burning making you sweat....... Might get a few people round so they can sweat it as well !!.
Once this is done & proved then i'd better weld the sills inner & outer arches & lower rear quarters of the cortina up as it won't get another mot as it is unless I take it to *@+*$^* then course it will pass. But thats another story for another time !
