Here are some pictures of some of the capri’s I have owned.
1983 1.6 LS My first capri.From the moment I sat in the car and looked out over that never ending bonnet I was hooked. Later fitted with 2 litre pinto with complete transmission including back axle. I didn`t know at the time that a 1600 GT clutch alows you to fit the 2 litre straight on the 1.6 gearbox.
Another 1.6 LS which again ended up with a 2 l pinto. This time I used the 1600 GT clutch which made life a lot easier.
3 litre ghia with a modified essex engine and 3 speed auto gearbox. Once you heard the rumble of a V6 there’s no going back.
